Flualprazolam, a fluorinated analog of alprazolam, is a tranquilizer belonging to the triazolobenzodiazepine (TBZD) class. Considered a new psychoactive substance, flualprazolam, is commonly used medically to treat panic disorders, anxiety, and insomnia; however, it has been discovered more recently in many cases of drug-assisted sexual assault.
